Newly discovered “SUPERBUG” a new gene named as NDM-1 or “New Delhi metallo-beta-lactamese” is a type of bug that was discovered in New Delhi India, when NDM-1 merge with bacteria it makes it highly resistant to almost all antibiotics including the “carbapenems” class which are the higher types of antibiotic as of to date, there are no present drugs to eliminate this NDM-1 in fact there is already three cases registered in U.S the patients came from India whom received medical treatments in India.
The “SUPER BUG” can be easily spread across the globe,people travelling around the world and searching for less costly medical treatments that includes procedures in cosmetics such as surgeries and other related medical treatments increase the chances of the NDM-1 to spread very quickly. The NDM-1 is already common on Bangladesh, India and Pakistan also there is a reported case in Britain where patients returned from Idia after recieving treatments, India provides cosmetic surgery for other Europeans and Americans as well.
This “SUPER BUG” should be in the priority of the medical groups hopefully there will be a new type of antibiotic which will stand out and eliminate this new super bug, obviously the “Drug Companies” are on a race to discover the medication for this infection as this can be a Great Value for them to invest new antibiotics. Bacterias continuously develop their resistance outsmarting the current antibiotics available in the market though humans were able to overcome this type of problem eliminating the hell out of those surfacing newly improved bacterias, virus etc. it seems nature is throwing their newly upgraded micro organisms to test how human technology can deal with it.
